During lots of my discussion with Anton one question often pops up, why even very intelligent people with good analytical and reasoning skills fail to see the bitter reality around them! When some of my friends can see all the problems I have but why I do not understand my own problems. I feel most of the time, people don't want to see the reality because they don't know how to react to those problems! so they just keep ignoring the problem and let sleeping dogs lie. Recently I read in a psychology book that when we come across a very bad accident or someone fallen down on the road we see that most of the people around them try to ignore such conditions and only very few people are ready to give a helping hand, we may jump into conclusions that people are self fish, self centered and don't bother to help people etc, but the book says in reality we are just not confident enough to handle such an emergency condition, most of the people who passed by might have seen such condition for the first time and don't know how to react to it!, so they don't want to react to the condition and make things worse! so we just let sleeping dogs lie!
In Tamil there is a proverb, We can wake up a person who is sleeping but can not wake up a person who is pretending to sleep! I was exactly doing such a thing and wasted a week!

Decisions driven by emotions are largely tend to be irrational… why? It will take another millions years of research and study and yet we will be far from understanding it completely. May be God made us that way to make sure we realize that we can never be perfect.
Being irrational sometimes is the same thing as being human.
On biological level- i remember browsing thru few research using brain imaging,et.. and social intelligent,et.. which highlights chemical reactions and effects of it. Also I was reading articles about behavioral economics—ignoring the economics of it. It was highlighting people’s decision making skills and how it is so irrational.

I do use to believe that way, like calling myself a destinies child, now i am reading Jean-Paul Sartre, a french French existentialist philosopher, Now when i rethink about things happened in my life, which i left behind thinking its part of my destiny, now seems to be my conscience decision, Its nice to think , or see the things from the other end also! May be its a bigger responsibility/confusion to think that i am the master of my own life? May be the hidden forces are something which we didn't want to see or we hide it by ourselves (unconsciously?)
